Clumsy Kitchen: EASY BANANA OATS PANCAKE!

Image
A little back story. I actually made these pancakes before back in 2015 but using only two ingredients, banana and eggs, and it tasted so bad that I had to throw away a big bowl of the batter. I even told myself to never make these again. Last weekend, I decided to give it a go again and guess what, this is now my favourite thing to have in the morning! Top it off with fruits and a drizzle of honey and you'll have a hearty and healthy pancake! If you love pancakes, healthy ones, then you should really try making this. This easy, 4 ingredients only pancake is not something new on the internet but I thought I would still blog about it and add it to my little "Clumsy Kitchen" section.

My 3D2N Chemerong Berembun Lansir Hiking/Camping Experience!!! Terengganu, Malaysia

Image
My first ever (actual) camping experience was nothing but amazing. Swam in a few rivers that are too pretty to be true, stargazed and fell asleep under a sky full of stars and got my shoe stucked in a muddy pool lol! It was definitely an unforgettable experience despite the the tiring and dreadful hiking trails. Anyway, I thought I would do a blog post about my whole experience. I actually vlogged and you can watch it here   DAY 1 We started off the hike around 9:30am. The first few bits of the trail was just flat and at one point, it was uphill all the way for around 30-40 minutes.  Our first stop, to rest.  Placed our bags and hiked a 5-10 minutes trail up to the Chemerong Waterfall which is one of the highest waterfall in Malaysia and Asia. Picture above was taken along the trail because the river water was just too pretty to not have a picture taken 😭 It's just surreal to be standing infront of a waterfall (to me at least) You can actually go higher and

Amazing Vegan Food In Penang!! Pinxin Vegan Cuisine

Image
As most of you know, I am plant-based 95% of the time. So when I was thinking what should I focus on in my second episode of Eat What Leh? series on Youtube in Penang, I thought it would be really cool to have a full day of eating as a vegan in Penang.  Finding vegetarian or vegan food in Malaysia is not a big of a problem because us Chinese and Indian are mostly vegetarians. There are many vegetarian economic rice shops that can be found in the streets of Penang and it is also most people's preferred choice as it is really cheap. But I wanted to try something different so I searched up for some vegan restaurants and here are two that I went to.  I really love the baroque inspired interior design in Pin Xin that had definitely been thought through really well.  There are also motivational quotes around the restaurant that definitely did not failed to motivate me to being 100% plant-based.  It worked guys.  L-R: PinXin Nasi Lemak (RM18) , Prosperous Hokkien Noo

IS THIS THE BEST WANTAN MEE IN PJ? Chan SinKee Noodle @ Kota Damansara

Image
Hey! I am finally back with another food review. Had not tried anything that was interesting enough for me to do a full blog on it. Anyway, my mum and I were searching for places to eat and we specifically wanted noodles. The initial plan was to have Chilli Pan Mee because who would say no to that right?! As we were walking there, this shop next door called Chan SinKee Noodle which   was pretty crowded at that moment, caught our attention so we decided to give it a try. Well, I think it's safe to say that this is now my favourite noodle place. No fancy decorations, just a humble set up. Not sure about you but I personally think that places that are less fancy always serves the best food. Well, most of the time.  There are 3 sizes of noodles to choose from. We didn't know how small is the small how big is the big portion so we just went for the smallest one which we were really glad we did because the portion is quite big for a small. They have a variety of wan tan noo

Full Face of Canmake + First Impressions! (click here to watch the video) Marshmallow Finish Base (Oil Block) This is now my go-to base for whenever I do my makeup. What I love about it is that it is very light weight and gives me a very air brushed-looking skin. As you can see, it does reduced redness and lightly concealed my spots. I noticed that when I first applied it, it doesn't look smooth and it looked a little cake-y. But after letting it set for about 6-7 minutes, skin looks smoother and has an air brushed finish. So I would normally let it set first before setting it with powder. My makeup did remained matte even after I went out and about for half a day without any touch ups. It really does absorbs oil sebum. Cover & Stretch Concelear UV ( Waterproof) I personally don't think the concealer works that well on spots. It does not have enough coverage. In the second picture, you can see that the concealer did brightened my under ey
